The Untied States has always moved forward. Blazing new lands, inventing new objects, helping others, and changing the way we think about government. We look at founding documents and say that is nice lets move on. We often forgot the line "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquillity, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity" this quote is form the preamble to the United States Constitution. The citizens are the ones change the nation. We are the ones that must change not the nation.

Some will, ask how did we get here? We got here by being divided. We put ourselves into different categories Republican, Democrat, Texan, New Yorker, rich, poor, religious, non religious, white, African American the list can go on and on. There are those who want to take us back. They want to us back to a time when we even more divided. The nation did not land a man on the moon by yelling about a Democrat stating the space race or complaining about the launch site being in Florida. We often stick our heads in the sand and yell you are wrong and dumb. We fight over nothing. We when work together and stop yelling we archive great things.

After September 11 Americans were united, we did not care about race or political affiliation. We just cared that the other was an American. We preach love but instead we hate. We let killers slip by while others are killed. We can no longer be divided. We are at the tipping point. Work together or die. We must make a choice. We must follow the phase Fortiter in re suaviter in modo (Resolute in execution, gentle in manner) to keep this city on a hill. Will we join Rome and Babylon in the dusty pages of a history book or will we continue to endure?

Americans are united against Obama and his Marxist agenda. You can read all of the liberal news you want but their agenda is being crushed slowly by popular support of the people.

Maxism must be started from the proletariat revolting against the bourgeoisie. Not an elite starting the process. It is not a political theory but an economic theory. Much like Adam Smith's theory of the invisible hand.

This is such an appropriate article for the times we face today.

Never in our history have the citizens of our great country been more divided; there is no longer a drive to consensus and the will of the majority. Instead we have crippling, paralyzing political extremes on both sides that preach that you must be conservative or liberal, democrat or republican, pro-life or pro-choice, isolationist or no borders advocate, for the corporations or for the worker, etc etc etc.

The loud voices from each side tell us that there are no gray areas, that if we do not pick a side that we are in denial and shirking our responsibilities as citizens and if we pick the wrong side in the view of the loud voices, then we are Nazis, Fascists, Communists, Socialists, racists, anti-woman, anti-union, anti-gay or anti something else.

Tolerance of differences of opinion is largely something that exists mainly in our memories.

The time of reasoned study, discussion and decision on what candidate to work vote for for each position on the ballot has largely been replaced with voting for a string of candidates from one part or the other, for no other reason than they are not the other party.

Elected officials have ceased to have a vocational calling to serve and govern and are rather professional politicians spending the the fortune of Midas to the tenth degree on elections campaigns that never end. Constant lobbying and campaigning to stay in office leaves little time for them to actually govern and do the peoples' business.

We no longer have civil, courteous and intellectual political discussions or debates among citizens or opposing politicians, but rather we have screaming, hate-filled, vitriolic diatribes that are as often focused on the person as they are on the issues at hand.

We strive more to divide, pointing out the flaws and defects of the other side, than we strive to unite by finding common ground, shared purpose, or compromises that serve the interests of both sides.

Are we united, we citizens of the United States? In the words of the renowned left wing talk show host Ed Schulz and echoed by the Speaker of the House John Boehner---Hell No!!!!
